Sports Injury treatments
We can assist with foot problems arising from sporting injuries and offer advice on how to protect your feet whilst playing particular sports. Most sports place extremely high demands on your feet, so our podiatrists can help you enjoy maximum comfort and performance. We also provide sports treatments for whenever foot , ankle and lower limb injuries occur. Correct diagnosis and use of modern therapies will help to ensure quicker healing.

Custom Made Orthotics / Orthoses and Inserts
At Craig Boulton Podiatry, we use the latest 3D laser scanning techniques to prescribe custom-made orthotics. Whatever your foot type or activity you enjoy doing, we can help get you back on your feet pain free quickly! We also have an extensive range of pre-moulded orthoses to suit all ages and foot types. Our Podiatrists can specifically fit these for you to make sure that you are getting the correct size and support that you need for your lifestyle.
We can also quickly recover and refurbish the top cover of your pre-existing orthotics and inserts if they have become worn out, in a variety of materials and colour of your choice.
If you are needing to make an appointment due to foot pain, we encourage our patients to bring along a few pairs of your usually worn footwear for the Podiatrist to assess.

School Shoes and Child Assessments
As children’s feet continue to grow up until the age of 15 years, it is extremely important to have regular checkups throughout their adolescence so that any foot developmental problems can be detected early and treated if necessary. Some of these concerns may be knocked knees, flat arches, pronating or rolling in of their feet whilst walking, and signs of tip toeing.
We can advise on correct fitting of your childs school shoes and sporting footwear to prevent any future issues from occurring. Our Podiatrists can also provide different shoe lacing techniques to assist with certain foot conditions and types as well to make shoes more comfortable!
Bunions and other Hereditary conditions
Bunions, Hammertoes and Ingrown toenails are often hereditary problems, but with early intervention, the effects of these common conditions can be minimized or even prevented.
We can provide you with suitable footwear advice for these issues as well as offer a range of products to help assist with ongoing daily care of these conditions.
Fungal Nail treatments
If you suffer from Fungal Nail infections, we can provide up-to-date treatments, delivering quick relief for your convenience. Ingrown Nails (Treatment or permanent removal)
We provide instant relief from painful ingrown nails. We also offer a permanent removal procedure here at the practice with minimal pain and NO stitches. This simple removal surgery is done with a local anesthetic and has a very short recovery time. Our Podiatrists can also advise you of correct nail cutting techniques to prevent ingrown nails from occurring again in the future.

Diabetes Healthcare Management
If you have Diabetes (Type 1 or Type 2) , it is extremely important to have a Podiatrist monitor your feet regularly to ensure healthy circulation and to avoid any serious foot health problems occurring such as ulcers or possible amputations. We assist with safe nail cutting and hard skin and corn removal, our Podiatrists also monitor your sensation and circulation in your feet and communicate with your doctor to keep an eye on your Diabetic foot health care.

We offer regular Podiatry treatment for Diabetics and Medicare rebates are available. You will need to obtain an EPC referral from your GP to access this rebate through Medicare. (Valid for up to 5 treatments per year). Please ask us for more information regarding your Diabetic feet we are happy to help!
We also stock a large range of Diabetic friendly socks (All Day Socks) at the practice for your convenience as well!
Ultrasound Therapy
Used on a wide range of foot conditions, such as Heel pain, Ultrasound therapy breaks up inflammation and encourages faster healing. At Craig Boulton Podiatry, ultrasound therapy is available, and our podiatrists will let you know if this treatment is right for you.

What should I bring to my appointment?
- Recent X-rays and scans
- Paperwork or referrals relating to your appointment
- Wear comfortable clothing to allow easy assessment of your legs and feet
- It’s also helpful to bring your usual or most regularly worn shoes (especially sports shoes / boots) and also any current or previous orthotics.
We also provide a large range of over-the-counter foot healthcare products, such as:
- Selection of All-day Socks (Great for Diabetics as they do not cut off circulation)
- Orthotic Sandals including fashionable and supportive Vionic Beach Flip Flops and Washable Winter Slippers
- Archies Flip Flops!
- Foot Balms and Moisturizing Creams
